Now that we’re well into D-term, this year is quickly drawing to an end. But before summer, we have a number of events planned out over the next few weeks.
ISC’s international film festival begins next week. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be showing five award-winning movies from around the world. The titles we’re showing and their dates and locations are listed below:
Apocalypto - March 31, OH 107 (movie details)
After the Wedding - April 2, SL 115 (movie details)
Pan’s Labyrinth - April 4, OH 107 (movie details)
The King of Masks - April 7, SL 115 (movie details)
The Lives of Others - April 9, SL 115 (movie details)
The movies will be shown at 8 pm on each day and admission is free.
On Saturday, April 5 is the ISC trip to New York City. If you want to spend a day in the Big Apple, here’s your chance. Seats cost $10 for ISC members and $13 for non-ISC members. Also, a free continental breakfast will be served at the international house before the bus departs so be there early!
Finally, ISC’s mysterious Secret Event is coming soon. This is our major event for D-term and the last big event of the year. Right now we are looking for people who can teach some kind of dance. If you are interested, please email herreram@wpi.edu or caltin@wpi.edu. Stay tuned for more details about this event.
